Volunteered at our local bike race watching an intersection of trail and road. Figured I might as well get some shots as I was hanging out. Somewhat of a static spot, but some good 'action-portraits'.

Fun race and raising money to add to the open spaces around our town north of Phoenix. Can't beat the weather here in November either!

Thanks,

Nice crisp pictures! Sounds like a fun race for a good cause. Weather has been decent around here, but I haven't been able to get on the bike much lately.

For these I think you could be much tighter. Like cropping wheels and helmets tight. Not much action. So try making it more portrait. Very good light. Super crisp shots and processing.

Nice exposure, crisp. I think they'd benefit from a bit tighter crop too.

Agree on the cropping. I printed #3 for the rider and got in tight, looked much better. Thanks,
