How to customize the /browse page

I have 4 main areas I would like to master on the /browse page under the new smugmug system...
1. How can we sort or re-arrange the folders displayed on the /browse page?
2. How can we hide specific folders from this page, from public view?
3. How can we change the photos which represent each folder icon?
4. How can we add text to each folder icon that is displayed on this page? (folder description either above it or below it)
Thanks!

For 4: From the Browse page go to Customize site. Click the wrench for Folders and under the Display tab adjust Info style and Hover as desired.

What I meant by my 4th request, is seeing the full title of each folder, either below the image or above it. Right now the partial titles are sitting on top of the folder icons (at the bottom of each folder image). You can't see the full name of the folder, especially if the names are long.
Anyway around that?
Thanks

Hide the gallery icon for more caption room on thumbnails
I've implemented the code on my Browse page. It works well.

I added it to my NewSM customization:
Customize Site>All galleries>Content>All galleries>CSS
but gallery Icons are still showing

To suppress the icons everywhere, add it to "Entire Site" instead.
