My first time posting in this area. My wife and I went for a drive stopped along the side of the road and look what we found. Most of the trees had already lost their leaves. Cc's welcome especially since I do this about once a year. I'm normally shooting something in motion. Thanks for looking.

Great shot Jim! there is a lot going on here and I like that in this shot. Good depth. Nice color through the layers. Great exposure speed for the water.

    Thanks for sharing!

Absolutely gorgeous, Jim. If it were mine, I might be tempted to reduce the brightness of those two bright nested rocks just left of center just a bit.

15524779-Ti.gif I really like the golden colour in the foreground water - very well composed. Lucky? You just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Will look really good hanging on your wall.

    Cheers, Richard.

thumb.gifGreat composition and exposure! I think as suggested above, you might want to reduce "lights" as well as "highlights" and also add some vignetting. Also the "clarity" or "sharpness" is cranked up causing it to look slightly unnatural. Reducing clarity and sharpness, and tad higher contrast would make this even better! JMO.

Thank you for all the suggestions. I'll give it a try and repost what I come up with.
    Again Thank you
