Transparent logo to cover header image

Hi
I would like my transparent gif logo to partly cover my header image. I am not looking for a watermark, but my logo is designed to dip down to cover the upper part of the underlying photo/gallery.

I guess this could be done using some sort of floating css style, but I'm new to Smugmug and not super skilled in CSS-styles. How could I implement this on smugmug?

Example attached.

Best regards,
Claus

    Solved it myself.

Put an HTML placeholder before the image/slideshow with this code on each Homepage and left the "Entire site" section empty

The menu still troubles me as it goes under the logo (despite lower z-setting; I assume menu has z-index: 99)

Thankyou for taking the time to report back with your solution.
I'm sure it will be a big help to others as they come across this thread. thumb.gif
My opinion does not necessarily make it true. What you do with my opinion is entirely up to you.
