New user question

I'm a brand new user of digital and Dgrin. I'm having trouble trying to figure out how to compress a jpeg so that it is small enough to post within a thread.

I've got all of my pics in Smugmug bet it appears they're worthless when it comes to postiing a link to them from within a thread because they're too big. When I was a ClubPhoto member, I could attach the URL directly into other message boards without a problem.

Two questions:
1. Can I somehow use my Smugmug pics directly? If not...
2. What is the simplest task I can do that will compress them and get them back into Smugmug so that I can post a URL?

Thank you,

Kip

wave.gif welcome to Dgrin, Kip :D

Yes, of course - use "share photo" and then choose the -L (large) size to link here. It's really a cinch! Holler if you need help. Don't do any compression - load your originals to SmugMug and the -L size will fit perfectly :D

It's all explained in the thread in my signature below.
