I don't know if I am doing something wrong or not but every time I put a footer on my smugmug site I cant fill out the page but the page always scrolls down one step. If I remove it it's normal and the page dont scrolls.

Hope anyone gets what I am trying to explain haha. If so is there a way to fix this.

you can see what I mean on

Daniel, I looked at your page and I do not see a problem. The footer is your copyright statement, yes? Seems to behave normally.
Also, I like your page design: very clean.
    Cheers

    Yes it's my copyright statment.

But when you enter the site can you see the complete page with copyright or do you need to scroll down to see the copyright/footer?

Thanks, think I have change my site like 20 times this week trying to get it right :D

I had to scroll down on a 1920x1200 resolution monitor. The page is blank. Do you have an empty block on it? What are your margins set at? There's a layout tab on the customizer, and each block has a little carpenter's square that access each block's margins.

Yes first page is blank, but you can look in the Gallery. Cant decide what to put on first page yet hehe.

Yes I know about the margins and I have set them all to my likings, in Gallery I have set all bottom margins to 0xp and when I dont use a footer it works as it should no scrolling as the page isent filled out. When I put a footer in there I have to scroll even if there is room and the margins for the footer is set to 0xp all over.

    I dont get it! :D

Edit: Now that I think about it I have seen alot of websites with the exact same thing, the footer is always hidden and you need to scroll down one step to see it?

I tried zooming out on this and at any browser zoom setting the footer is still off-page unless you scroll.
I can't try this, 'cause the pages on my site are too long, but have you tried changing the layout setting (under the Layout tab) from Stretchy to Fixed?

The Problem with a fixed setting is it will work good on one computer and not so good on another with a different resolution. For some reason it seems the footer is always hidden.

Just how are you making that red frame? I see only on three side, the top, right, and left. It ends right where the footer is. There's also a color different to the background of the footer, and the area that frame is displayed.

All these color changes was done in Theme settings, Page section color of that page and site section color for everything.

I have to put red color for site section color and then grey for page section color in theme setting. Then use margins 6xp on top and side margins. if you want a red frame around the whole page put 6xp on bottom margins as well.

Edit: Btw I gave up trying to fix this footer problem :(

I had this same issue. The only difference is that when scrolling downward, my screen would rapidly jump up and down. I too gave up on inserting a text footer...
