Serendipity happens, even at 3pm in the afternoon Here's a handheld two-row pano, the full file is over 200 megapixels, and stitched in PS CC. During our last workshop in Southern Utah, we were driving along the Colorado River looking for something to shoot when we spotted the rainbow and the really good light hitting the rocky cliffs. The stillness of the water was a bonus!
Panasonic GH3 with 12-35 f/2.8 on board. Oh the lesson here is, I had about 1 minute to get this shot. I teach folks on our workshops to be "light, nimble and quick" which means you've got to get out of the car and be ready to shoot within 30 seconds sometimes, or you can miss the shot. The rainbow and light were literally gone in a minute or so.
Enjoy (serendipity) photography,
