Changing Font Style

I am developing a very simple web page. The banner just contains my name which I would like to have in an elegant script. The font I choose looks great on my mac at home but changes to a simple font when viewed at work. I did a little research and it appears that there are about 10 web safe fonts ("mostly boring") that should work universally. Unfortunately, none of these exist in the list of available fonts in Smugmug. Any ideas ( I would prefer to use the elegant option but at least would like something that doesn't change depending on where viewed).

Thanks in advance.

My guess is I need to create an image. If this is the case what is the simplest way (software) to create a text image. Sorry about the basic question.

I'm not one of the heroes working for SmugMug, but I'd say you want to create an image. For other text on the site, you want something that is easily legible and universal across machines. Script isn't the best option for other text on your site... and if the script is only in your banner, then it stands out more.

We use Google Fonts to provide you with a large variety of font choices. It could be that at work you're using an older browser or it's a security measure that results in the custom font to be disabled. Another option might be that your work place blocks the Google Fonts.
If possible, you could try installing a different browser to see if that resolves your issue. If not, you could only check with your IT department to see if they might be able to help.

What Reign said might be the easiest solution if you just use the font in the logo.
