Looking for your thoughts on this image,and does anyone know which type of fly this is?

    Lovely capture-Like the wing colours think it's a muscid fly.
    Looks a bit tight in the frame to me. There's a point with bugs and magnification where you need to go for more of a portrait shot (ie head and shoulders) rather than a whole body shot.

    Thanks for your comments Brian,much appreciated,i never thought about the portrait shot but it makes a lot of sense,i think i was about 3xmag and shaking like a junkie lol,just need to keep practising.
