Hello!!
I need your help.
I want to fix the logo+menu on the top of my smugmug website when scrolling down, and it works, but the logo+menu are floating transparent (without background) and I need to put a background to convert the logo+menu into a bar fixed at the top and the content running under it when I scroll down the page.
Do you know how to do that effect?
Thanks in advance for your help!

I am not entirely sure what you are asking. Maybe you could separate your questions and start with the first one only?
So if I try to understand, do you want to fix the top so that when someone scrolls, the logo and navbar remain in view? If yes, turn Pinning, "on".

    Hello,
    I'll try to explain:
I have pinning "on" already and the logo and nav bar remain and the top fixed when someone scrolls, but they are transparent (logo and menu texts are floating) and the aspect is not good. Do you understand?
I want to have them fixed but as a bar.
Let me know if now is clear.
    Thanks in advance
    Xavier

I think this is clear. Try this then, you want to go to Theme/Edit Theme/Background.
Then scroll down to the Site Section Colors. In this image I have a color set for the leftnav bar. The header is right above that section. You set the color. Then the Alpha slide bar, sets the transparency.

I realize I might have misunderstood again. If you mean you want this:

    LOGO Name

    and NOT:

    LOGO
    Name

Then, the fix, I think, is that while you are in customize, you want to drag the Text Block (Is that what your name is, a Text block?) and place it beside the logo. Click the upper left corner cross to move it, drag with the mouse. It may be hard to get the Green area to show itself, but it may be on the far right edge of your browser. You can place blocks side by side this way. Then tweak the Wrench icon on each block to set container widths and other settings.

Click (at the top) "Customize Site".

On the right side, the black "flyout" section:

Click the section of your site you want to work on. I take it this is either the Entire Site, or the Homepage. (You do not *have* to be in the section you want to work on to do the next step, but it helps so that you can see some changes you make as you go along.)

Then below the list of sections are 3 tabs. The middle is Theme. Click it and you will see "Active Theme".
Hover the mouse over the theme you see there (it will have a tiny thumbnail on the left, then a name next to that).
When you hover, you'll see a small wrench icon. Click that. That is the settings for the Theme of your site and is where I got the image.

If you want to change the entire theme of your site to something new, that's a different process.
