Organize>Replace Not working

I haven't been able to use the organize>replace option since Saturday Selecting organize>replace brings up the dialog box but without the picture of the image to replace, no browse button and no replace button. Tried on Firefox and IE. Same result on both browsers

I've isolated the problem to a specific gallery. Other galleries seem to be working. On this gallery when I selected return to original gallery, it returned to one level up. I then changed the gallery short name from S to S1 and that fixed the problem. I've since changed the gallery short name back to S and the problem returned. I'll leave it like this so you can check it out in case there may be other triggers for the problem but I suspect it has something to do with the gallery short name.

For some reason the S didn't show up in the link. I've manually edited the link and inserted the S. This link should get you to the image and the gallery.

Have you tried to empty cache and cookies in your browser?

I cleared the cache but that didn't solve the problem. I'll just change the gallery short name and keep an eye out for any unusual behaviour. No further action needed. Thanks for responding so quickly.

Sorry to butt in but can I ask which browser you used to check this, Tomasz?

The reason I ask is because there's a long-standing known unfixed bug in Tools > Organize > Replace when using Firefox, please see http://dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=239826, and I was wondering if the two problems are related. I see your screenshot is markedly different to mine - not only is the text white-on-black where the replacement filename would appear, but the button text on your screenshot is "Choose File" whereas in Firefox it is "Browse".

I have checked this on Google Chrome on Mac OSX. The Browse button usually appears usually on Firefox. Here is a screenshot using Firefox:

Funny thing happened when I tried from the link in the thread. It worked. The problem is not the replace but seems to be related to the gallery. When I access it from this folder http://paultavares.smugmug.com/Wildlife/Birds choosing the Swallows to Thrushes gallery. When I enter the gallery, the gallery short name (which is S) does not appear in the link path. The replace option can't find the file to replace so it stalls. Changing the gallery short name to anything other than S works.

I'll leave the gallery short name as S for a few days if you want to investigate in case there are others having a similar problem of the complete path not being defined. I haven't noticed this behaviour on any of my other galleries.
