I work with a dog rescue organization and send most of my images to the webmaster so the images can be posted on the organization website: http://www.malteserescuecalifornia.org/index.html

Would it be possible for him to use the images that I have posted to my smugmug site? I trust him enough that I could provide him with my password if necessary.

You can set up free downloading in any SmugMug gallery. To do this, just go to the gallery's settings and make sure right-click protection is turned off, and that the Largest Viewing size setting is set to Original. As long as you've done that, any visitor to the gallery will be able to download the full resolution photos by either clicking the download icon (New SmugMug) or by hovering over the image and clicking the folder icon that appears in the flyout (Legacy SmugMug). This way, you don't need to give our your account login credentials, and your visitors can still download freely from your galleries :) I do not recommend giving out your account login credentials to anyone, as that would give them full access to see your personal account info, or even use the credit card you have on file to place a print order.

Posting photos on the web does not need to be originals. Just turn right click protection off and they
can right click and save any displayed photo size. If you have a watermark the display copy would
    include that.

You can also generate zip file downloads of the entire gallery so he could have all of the full resolution photos downloaded to his computer with one click.
