Can I make a 'dead' link in a nav menu?

On my website I would like the PORTFOLIOS menu link to be disabled, and for its only function to be to create the dropdown for my actual portfolios.

Anyone know if this can be done?

Leave the top link setting blank (delete if there is anything there)
