Looking to sell my Nikon D3 with a little over 89K on the shutter to fund a Nikon Df. I am the 2nd owner of this camera.
The camera is in perfect working condition but has some cosmetic marks on the viewfinder hump. The bottom of the camera is also marked up due to my tripod/strap plate. There is some slight fogging underneath the back LCD but it is not even visible once the LCD is in use. In any case it was taking into to Authorized Photo Services (formerly Nikon's Midwest Repair Center) to repair the metering dial (common issue) as well as receive a standard CLA (Cleaning, Lube, Alignment) at the end of October 2012.
The camera will come COMPLETE with box (manuals, cords, etc), unused D3 strap, DK-19 eye cup (as pictured), original DK-17 eye piece, and the original OEM EN-EL4 battery + an OEM EN-EL4A. The EN-EL4 is condition 4, which means it won't hold it's charge long and will drain if left in the camera. You can charge it, then use it right away for a full day in light use or a couple of hours in heavy use. The EN-EL4A just turned condition 3 and holds it's charge for awhile. You can charge it and leave it in camera for a week or two in light use or a few days in heavy use. To sweeten the deal I will pre-charge both batteries, give the sensor a good VisibleDust swab and throw in 2 Sandisk 8GB 60/mbs CF cards so you can start shooting as soon as the camera arrives!
I am looking for $1800 via PayPal which covers the PayPal fee and UPS Ground Shipping w/insurance to CONUS only.
