Hide padlock icon

In legacy, I had set custom gallery covers, and hid the lock icons. I'd like to do the same with the new version. I've found how to set the gallery cover, hide the gallery title text overlay, but can't find how to hide the lock icon over the gallery cover. :dunno

Unfortunately it's not possible to experiment with your site since you didn't supply your URL, but...
You might be able to adapt the code that Lamah provided in the thread Replace default icon protected gallery with personal icon.

The code I referenced in my previous post does replace the image of the lock icon in the tile above the title but that would be essentially the same as placing the same cover photo for every gallery.

Have you considered setting a feature photo for every gallery - including the locked galleries? That is possible in both legacy and new smug.
