Outstanding photo! This one has it all: Composition, technique and a good story. I'd hang this one on my wall. Love the use of the light and all the angles.

Well executed ! Love this shot for its abstract nature and the contrasting shadows of the dancers.

Fine, Fine, shot Cristóbal - the shaft of light creates a serendipitous "spotlight".... very nice!

Bravo, Cristóbal. wings.gifFrom many points of consideration, this one deserves to be on display.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Thanks everyone! This is one of those shots that is 50% being there and another 150% good luck. The dancers were dancing all over the huge floor and stopped for a while right at the beam of light. The shadow of the first dancer is exactly lined with the beam of light and so is the pianist's with light coming from another angle.

I am glad you liked it wings.gif!

I love the play of light, shadow and line. You certainly nailed the timing clap.gif. I find a few distracting elements, though--the clothing (or whatever that black stuff just around the corner is) and floor markers in particular, and I'm not too sure I like the diamond light patch. Less might have been more in this one, but you made the most of what you had to work with. thumb.gif

Richard, thanks for the comment! I agree that the pile of clothes is a distraction, but I didn't want to clone anything out, it was an unplanned shot. Again as always thanks for the constructive criticism thumb.gif.
