Ever go through your pics and find some weird stuff you didn't see while you were shooting? On a recent trip to the southwest, I spotted a small group of cows in front of a distant stand of Aspen trees in bright fall colors which I thought would make a nice shot.

In that shot above, pay particular attention to the cow in the back row, to the right. There's one of those cheap white plastic chairs you buy at a thrift store in front of her head. With me so far?

I hadn't noticed it when I snapped the shot. So I shot some other things, and then decided to revisit the cows and try some different crops. The next one was this wider angle.

Um, what's that I see? Let's take a closer look. Uh oh.

Bummer.

My third shot looked like this.

Zoomed in, we see that the cow's ears have essentially become locking-tabs and that chair isn't going to come off so easily now. Poor cow! :cry

I admit I do have to chuckle at the expression on the cow's face beside her though. :giggle

Anyway, the moral of the story is it pays to go through ALL your shots carefully, even the ones you figure are rejects. You never know what you may find. :deal
