Where have the old Gallery options gone

Moved to the new Smugmug some weeks back but to be honest I'm missing options that don't appear to be available in the new. Some of which have already been raised but here's two more.
In the old version of Gallery settings there was an option which if selected alerted any visitor to your site that a particular gallery had just been updated. When selected Smugmug would then display the time and Date under the Gallery concerned, that's no longer available.
Another missing feature. Where has the random image rotation option gone in Gallery settings. You now select an image to headline a gallery on the main page and its there until you change it to another Ok some may prefer that but I liked the image rotation option and used it often especially when I had not updated the contents of a particular gallery for a while
Little things like the above just niggle away
