Challenge 54 - Any thoughts?

This was taken of the Commonwealth Mall in Boston on December 15. Each December the trees are strung with lights giving a lift to the spirits as the days get shorter and colder. I really hate it when they take the lights down in February. :cry Meanwhile, they reinforce the joys of the season, but in a "peaceful" way.

All is calm, all is bright ...

    This is a cool shot! Very unique perspective on the lights. I like how you've isolated them and made them look like a star field.

    Did you try the shot with a small aperture? Getting some star effects from the diaphragm might add a special touch. Or you might try a star filter....
