Both versions are good, but I think I like the uncropped one better. It has more of a sense of motion than the crop. Nice capture.
I'm with Richard on this one. I think including the extra street scene is paramount in setting the proper stage for this shot. I also find the cropped version to be appealing. Well done.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.
I like the uncropped version since you have the impression of movement (walking and shopping). With the cropped version you do not get the additional action since she could simply be standing waiting for someone or for a bus, etc. I think the uncropped is more dynamic.
