The family did our usual fall adventure to Canyonlands and surrounding areas this year.
Finished a few shots from Canyonlands so far.
Mesa Arch Mid day, Very few people there at that time...
Green River Overlook, small shower.
Sunset on cliffs above Soda Springs Basin from the Green River Overlook.
Visit gallery to see more.
Thanks for looking

We did visit Dead Horse on the third day, more of the beautiful same as Canyonlands. We did not stay for sunset though.
After the first day at CanyonLands, The sky cleared up, not a cloud to found anywhere. Makes for some less than dramatic results. Besides, we were getting pretty hungry, and having a hungry 8 year old Grand daughter on our "Adventure Team" is no way to travel....

Thanks Joel.
Funny, there were only about five photographers at the arch, who wants to be there in the middle of the day, right?
It was supposed to be 65degs that day and partly cloudy, instead it was about 45degs and the wind blowing cold. The clouds parted just at the right time to shine some light on those spires in the distance. Fortunate It was a fun trip, worth a repeat.

I'm finding I can translate some of your posts.
Bright colors.
The sunset really made the cliffs glow a beautiful red.
Thank you.
