I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Your about as fast at posting images as I am
Thanks for your support, Cristóbal. As you know, I don't often work in B&W.....I'm pleased when they turn out OK.
Take care,
Tom
It's good to hear from you, Richard. Believe me, I was hunting heat about the time I snapped this shot.
Stay safe,
Tom
I appreciate the nice words, John. I'll bet you've been by these same tress a few times. They're right off the BRP, not far from Blowing Rock.
Stay warm, brother,
Tom
BUSTED!!
Thanks, Eric,
I've always found these kind of scenes to be fascinating. The barren trees tell a whole different story and create a very different mood when compared to those times when they're full of leaves. The Winter temps do their job, of course, in helping with the mood part.
Take care,
Tom

Thanks, Lauren, I appreciate the support. Some things just cry out for B&W....this was one.
Take care,
Tom
I appreciate the supportive remarks. I can certainly feel the " tranquility " impression....another 10 minutes out in that weather and I would have been pretty tranquil myself.

Hi Mary,
I'll bet you've already seen enough weather like this to last you for the Winter.
Take care,
Tom
It's started to be a brutal winter, but I still love the trees with their bare branches showing. Eerie and beautiful at the same time.
