Gotta love the nice vistas a couple miles from home. This is Eaton Canyon in Altadena, an L.A. 'burb.

Too bad they saw fit at some point to string up high-tension wires across the front range of the San Gabes. But I've gotten kind of used to them -- sometimes the towers look kind of neat when fading in and out of storm clouds.
