Beautiful, but looks like the horizon is leaning to the right.

I think this is one of those cases where a technically correct image seems a little jarring because the "usual assumptions" our brains apply to interpret depth from blobs of color and light don't work quite right for the image.

Judging from the vertical elements in the scene and from the camera's perspective and natural curve of the shoreline it appears this is actually level. Pretty darn nice! thumb.gif

Thanks for the input guys, I ensured that the camera was level using the built in artificial horizon and a bubble level. I can see how it can be misleading but the right side is much closer to the lens than the left, I shot from a small beach cove, the shore line is just barely out of frame on the right.

I used the scientific method and scrolled the image the top of the browser window lol3.gif

It's a beautiful image. Love the color and setting.

Hmmm, that's a very nice shot, good timing and framing, but on a tanget, I'm not actually that impressed with the Mk3's low light capability. Which I suppose is a good thing, because it doesn't tempt me to upgrade. If you shot RAW, I'd suggest looking into some of the raw noise reduction capability of your RAW converter. I'd also suggest toning down the vibrance or saturation on the rocks, it looks pretty artificial to me.
