More Damn Problems!!

I'm not even sure how to begin..............

I have had a SmugMug publish button for years. Now for some reason when I view any of the upload galleries and or upload an image from this plug in I can not return to my LR5 images. While the navigator window will show the first image in whatever gallery I am trying access, the images will not diplay and will only display what ever images were in the last SmugMug upload folder / gallery I was viewing, and I have to shut down LR5 and restart.

I also need to create a new gallery. I tried to create this from SmugMug which works but the upload plugin does not see or recognize it. If I try and create it from LR5 SmugMug noes not recognize it?

I deleted the old upload plugin and have tried to install the newest (2.0.8.0) version, only to have a not authorized warning pop up, but when I click on the button to authorize I am sent to a blank page and my little LR5 icon bounces up and down?

I would like the Smugmug upload plugin to work and I need to have a new gallery ASAP that can be accessed from my Smugmug site and the SmugMug upload plugin in LR5.

Can this be done??

I deleted it. I was trying to start over from scratch with a new working LR5 to SmugMug uploader plugin.

I will recreate the gallery and give you a link. Need a minute or 3.

Sam, I don't know if this will help or hurt, but for what it is worth, I've been using it in a very busy basketball season and since 2.0.8.0 (at least once I understood some of the issues with file naming) it has been perfect. I'm running on 5.3 (and was 5.2), 64 bit on Windows 8. I create my galleries in the plugin (empty), and I do a LOT of publish steps as I edit and upload (since people are usually looking for shots quickly for publication, and then the rest to come later). I have also done a few manual uploads (when in a hurry on the road) to a gallery, then do a synch and had it find them and put them in the published collection. I don't have a good suggestion for you, other than to suggest it is something screwed up or corrupt, and if you can get past it, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

If you create a gallery in Lightroom it should appear immediately in Smugmug. If you create one on Smugmug, you can "sync hierarchy" and it will then see it in the publish plugin. I've done both of those successfully several times. You do have to remember to check that box for the latter. I try to always create the galleries in the plugin for consistency, since it will by default apply the quick settings without me having to remember.
