Unable to delete slideshow block

Congrats for awesome work on websites!
While i was playing around i added a slideshow box under photos collage... but now it is not disappearing from there despite deleting it several times, it just comes back again and again when i publish.

Are you entering the Preview before you publish? If so, try not doing that.

I can't delete mine either. I have tried to delete from the block itself, and from the RH "On Homepage". Always comes back. I came here and searched first, found this thread and tried each again by going to preview frst, but it still reappears.

Don't use preview. Use Done/Publish.
Then open Customize again and try deleting the block if it's still there.
End with Done/Publish.

Publish is private to you only before you unveil. Once you unveil, Publish is to the public.

I remove it.
I hit Done
I hit publish Now.
Still there.

Hmm, makes no sense.
Are you sure you're deleting the slideshow block?
If you are - then - I would contact smugmug help directly via email. You're doing all the right things so someone behind the scenes probably needs to intervene.

I'm having exactly the same problem. I am NOT clicking "Preview" first, just clicking "Done" and "Publish." The block simply won't delete.

I have emailed support and am awaiting a reply.

What finally worked for me was to drag the block to the skinny, horizontal section above the footer. Then delete from there.
