Ladybird on a slide

I was trying to get a decent shot of the underside of this harlequin ladybird using a microscope slide but the ladybird had other ideas.

I think this ladybird was curious what was at the edge of the world and has now determined the world is flat. This has probably put ladybirds behind as the dominate species on the planet by 2000 years!
