Galleries not visible in public folder

Hi everyone. I am having the same problem as this user: http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=240847

I have a public folder that is password protected. When I am logged out and testing it, I cannot see the complete contents of the folder, only the top level folders within the parent folder. My file structure is:

All Family Photos - parent folder
2013 family photos - folder inside All Family Photos
best of 2013 - folder inside 2013 Family Photos
2013 galleries - inside 2013 Family Photos

The folders and galleries are nested in All Family Photos. All Family Photos is set to public and is password protected. Each of the galleries and folders within it are set to inheriting.

Only Best of 2013 is visible. When I click that folder, there are no galleries inside. I thought I had this fixed yesterday when I changed the setting on All Family Photos from unlisted to public. It was working fine. But today, after uploading into a new gallery in 2013 family photos, I'm having the same problem again, and it's driving me crazy! I've checked the settings, and everything is set to inherit All Family Photos.

I am not an expert in this but one thing to check: In your Folders, and Galleries pages, did you drag in the content block for all folders and galleries?

I did have a content block on the parent folder page. I have since removed that content block just to be sure, logged out, and it looks the same.

I think you need a content block in every section, folders and all galleries, as well as the home page.
