San Francisco

Had a short business trip to San Francisco and I brought a new mirrorless camera with me on this trip, a Panasonic Lumix DMC-G5. It saved some space in the suitcase and was pleasant to shoot. I still have to read up on a few features in the manual, though!

    Nice shots. Great (if not lucky) composition on the 1st. How far away was the gull?

    That seagull was sitting directly in front of me, not shy of people at all. At the same time I was trying to be cautious.

    These are really nice and I really like the look -- very film-like. Is that from the camera or the processing?

    Thanks. There was very little processing done (except for the first image which was HDR) and so the effect is from the camera. The photos were taken with a 14-40mm (28-80mm 35mm equivalent) lens.
