Launch Fullscreen

I would like to have a gallery open in fullscreen slideshow mode from the click of a menu.

Can anyone tell me if this is possible and how to do it?

Do you have the slideshow up and running in a gallery?
Do you have a menu block placed on your site somewhere (homepage or entire site, probably).
If so, then in the menu block, set up a new link, and either (a) navigate to the gallery where the slideshow is, and select it, or (b) put in the custom URL if the slideshow is its own page but not a gallery per se.

I have the menu block and gallery.
But, when I link to the gallery, it opens in slideshow mode, but not fullscreen. Same thing when I put in the link. I don't know how to get a link to the "fullscreen page", if there is such a thing.

Ah, I was thinking slideshow, not full screen. I don't think there is a way to do that. The link options are photo, slideshow, or lightbox. "Full screen" goes outside the browser itself... is that right? Maybe that's where there isn't a URL for it.

Personally I would panic if I clicked a link and the entire monitor was taken over by a photo. I would rather have the option to go there than be taken there without my permission in advance.

I guess I see your point about panicking, but it just seems like the best way to get a bunch of as-large-as-possible images in front of your viewers.

This slideshow is beautiful, but the code seems way over my head. I looked at it a little bit but I don't even know what size image he specs to get it that big. I will try to spend some time wading through the threads.
