I've been trying for a while to use my personal domain name and have it point to my smugmug photos
According to what I've found I'm supposed to do the following
I logged into my Network Solutions Account and went to Advanced DNS and see the following "Hosts" listed under IP Address (A Records). I also can only add an IP address under the A records section. I pinged domains.smugmug.com and tried that IP address but it has not worked
I have nothing under CNAME
I can't delete the www from the A records and add it to the CNAME. I can't add "www" alias to CNAME because it's already been used. How am I supposed to set this up?

Option 2: DIY Already have a domain? Great! You already know what you're doing. Be sure to check your domain hosts setup instructions to prevent problems. 1. Point your CNAME 'www' to domains.smugmug.com . 2. Point your A Record '@' to 208.79.45.23 . 3. Visit your SmugMug Account Settings > Me > Account tab for the "Custom Domain" line. Paste your new domain name into the box and click "Save Changes." That's it!

this is bloody irritating
Ok, I removed the wildcard entry form the "A" values also and it looks like the example has a period after domains.smugmug.com so we'll see what happens when it propogates
Please check out my gallery of customisations for the New SmugMug, more to come!
thanks for the help
