drop down menu question:

So, I have a drop down menu on my website/smugmug site. And I was wondering if it was possible to make the folder page that the "child" pages are under not clickable?

To be more specific, I have a portfolio link with the varying categories as the drop down. I don't want to have the "portfolio" page to be clickable or to show up, really. I just want the link there with the child links to that folder as the drop down. Is this possible?

My site: www.angieknutsonphotography.com -- note how the "portfolio" page is blank if you click on it.

Go to that customise > entire site > highlight the menu content block > click on the wrench > click on options > click on the "Links" tab > Select the menu item you want to become "non-clickable" > In the "link to" > custom URL .... delete everything in that field so it is blank (although I have http:// and it works????)
Save changes and you are good to go .... that link will not be clickable, but the child menu items will be (if you have correct "links to" addresses)
My opinion does not necessarily make it true. What you do with my opinion is entirely up to you.

I get what you're saying, I tried it. However, the way that my drop down is set up is that the "portfolio" page is a folder and the three categories inside are in that folder. I followed the instructions here:
    http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/1222523-customization-navigation-menu

I guess it kind of defeats the purpose imo, if that page is there.

I don't know if I'm completely following, BUT, do make the main folder UNclickable as instructed above.
Then add links, new links, each to the foloder (or gallery) you DO need linked.

Use the mouse to drag each sublink to under the main link and slightly to the right. Park it as a subfolder. Then it will show up in the menu dropdown.
