[help] cannot change custom domain

hi all, I followed the instructions about how to set my custom domain manually. however smumug will not allow the change. when I click "save" it claims that it cannot save the change and that the domains are not set right. what can I do? I've already changed the zone settings (of the domain registrar) to match smugmug's ...

*edit again* however it appears that my custon domain is not found by browsers... what's wrong ?

*newer edit* it works now, but for some reason I don't understand, when I type full name "www.n-trace.com" it loads my new, beatiful smumug site. when typing just "n-trace.com" it shows my older site... ?

*and newer again* it stoped working. how is is possible ? the site is not found by the browser... plz help me, I've just promoted it in various forums !

When you say you can't log in, is that because you can't see your site? You can log in at http://www.smugmug.com/ instead. Clear your browser cookies if you're still having problems with that.

Both www.n-trace.com and n-trace.com load your new site for me. Try clearing your browser's cache.

Well I am trying 3 browsers (ie, firefox, chrome) and the site will not load , only every now and then. most of the time I get an error saying site is not found ... how can I fix that? maybe it's because changing my previous domain host to smugmug's means some delay before servers sync?

Sure, if you change your DNS settings, you can end up randomly seeing the old settings until the old settings expire properly (which can take a day or two depending on what TTL those records had set on them previously).
