I'm really not sure what you are after here. When I'm looking for a color code I usually use the color charts at http://www.december.com/html/spec/color.html. I select the color, copy the hex code and place it in smug, either in the color chooser or directly in my CSS.
If you don't like that presentation of colors there are many other color charts available on the web.
If you're talking about the "official" SM colors (or any site for that matter), simply do a Print Screen' and use the Eye Dropper tool in PS to find what color code it is.
