I did a quick lifestyle session with John, a comedian from Jersey. He's a great guy, and we had a blast. Here's a few from the set. The rest can be seen on my blog

You're such a rockstar, I may have to start hating you. rolleyes1.gif

Another GREAT set - where do you find all these super-interesting folks? The lifestyle look is great for his personality based on these - just terrific.

The only ones I'm not sure about are the big shadows in 3 - I get what you were going for, and I'm sure he can find a use for them on a website or whatever, but I found myself looking at the shadow instead of the dude. Maybe it's just a photographer thing.

4-7 are just fabulous promo shots. Great stuff! thumb.gif

Those are really nice. I especially like the flare in #7.

Thanks Diva! I've actually known John for a while, and he's just an awesome dude. He's been doing standup since I was in high school.

Besides knowing John though, I have to say that the clients I have been getting (the ones that find me on Google) happen to be really interesting/creative people. This is the market I've been striving for, and I'm glad it's finally happening!

I knew that #3 would be a controversial image. I did it for the artistic purpose. The strong shadows/interesting light gives the image a strong urban look. It's completely out of the ordinary and it goes against all rules. And for that purpose, I love it.

Thank you Alex! It's nice to see you back here! :)

We started shooting around 3:45 and wrapped up around 4:00. A really quick session, but it was for free. All shot on the 50L.

Thank you! It's actually my favorite image from the bunch (tied with 3). :D
