Took this photo early this morning. The sun had not fully risen as yet so had to use ISO 1600 to have any chance of getting the picture. Tried to clean it up in photoshop.

All opinions are appreciated also please feel free to see what you can do with the image.

    Hey, Ivan.

What are you looking for? In-depth crititque? This is the place. If you just want to check your post-processing and make sure you didn't over do it, then the software forum is a better place for this post. Let us know, and we'll accomodate you.

Please go ahead and move the post to the software forum if you feel it is more appropriate and you think I will get more appropriate feedback on the post processing of the image.

    Thanks

I think it looks nice, but probably has a pretty serious warm cast. When I used ACR's eyedropper on the brightest point of the clouds to get them neutral, I got a nice bright blue sky and a reasonable colored bird. I used the simple LAB curve steepening recipe and got this:

I rather thought the warmth was added on purpose in PS.

I don't think so because it was there in the raw file. Whatever happened in PS exaggerated it. There is nothing actually wrong with it, but I think the more neutral image is a better starting point for whatever processing follows.
