    Whoa, pard, that's a quite interesting shot. Really striking. Yes sir, I'd say that is a huge step up from lightning bugs. In my day, something like that might have sent the more timid kids packing.

    Was there any PP work required to produce this image, or is it pretty much straight from the camera?

    Hey Tom,

    These frogs live on the grounds of the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in downtown Dallas.

    I just blacked out extraneous parts of the image that didn't contribute. That's it.

    Cool!! Never seen frogs like this before. Would sure make it easier to find them at night when I was younger :D

    At my age, I NEED them to look like this so I can see them, although I think frog gigging is out of the question with these big suckers!
