How do I make the "Photo Sharing by Smugmug" link include my referral code?

It looks like there are two options - to include your referrer code, or for you to place the link on your page using the referrer code.

From the help page at http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/93326:

It's simple: When they sign up with us, have them enter your email address or your unique personal referral code.

Q: Can I provide a link to SmugMug from my site and have your referral program credit my customers and me?
A: Yes. Simply provide the link http://www.smugmug.com/?referrer= followed immediately (no spaces) by your email address or personal coupon.

For the second option I believe you would need to place the link yourself, maybe changing the default link to smug with a link containing your referral code.
