add ability to view statistics on gallery that is a collection / smart gallery

I occasionally create galleries that pull photos by keyword. Unfortunately when I request statistics on these galleries I get no results (screen shot below) with the text in the Date column "No records found.".

This is a request to show stats on smart galleries. After all, people are viewing the galleries.
