Watermark Help

I am totally new to the land of photography. I am a ProSmugMugger and have no idea how to make a watermark. I have read and reread the directions that are put up but still am having trouble. I am using a mac if that makes any difference. Do I need some sort of photoshop to make one? Thanks…:D

Yes, you need a photo editor that uses layers such as photoshop. There is a free one called Pixlr

Use that and then you can create a watermark with a transparent background and save it as a .png file per the instructions.
