Space between paragraph

I used the text content block as shown below. When I typed the message in the text content block, it looked fine. But in the actual message the space between the lines (please see arrows) was wider. How can reduce the space?

Delete the line spacing so that you combine all the text (kind of starting over).
Your options are:
1. Enter - slightly less than double-spacing
2. Shift-Enter = Single line space
3. Shift-Enter Shift-Enter = standard double line space.

I have one more question. For the text content block, there is automatic spacing when a return key is hit. Is it possible to remove the spacing between two paragraphs?

Do you mean revert essentially 2 paragraphs into 1?
Backspace the 2nd paragraph (cursor is placed before the first letter of the paragraph) back out, back to the end of the first paragraph. so that you remove the returns.

Did you try the method that ChancyRat suggested in this post?

I stopped using text content blocks early on; they were too "fiddly". I am happier using the HTML blocks even though that means I need to use code for some formatting.
