Option to show Gallery Description in gallery listing

Can we have an option to display gallery description in gallery listing (eg: on the folder pages)
This can be done either as a folder setting or via a new content block (easier to apply to everything this way)
This was possible in old smugmug, where the rendered html markup contained this data. See example from my website here: http://photography.ashish-pragya.com/Travel/China-2007
