My girlfriend needed a picture to send for a competition, so we threw together a little studio and this is what we came up with. Background is obviously Photoshopped (I don't have proper lighting to use a backdrop, so the existing one looked pretty bad) but other than that I really like her pose!

I think this turned out really nice. Like the exposure, energy, lighting and the background goes well with the costume. Although my wife tells me my color combinations are bad, I say be more daring.

I also really like this...I love the color combination, her expression, the lighting, the pose...the only thing is I wish her foot looked more "grounded"

Thanks! Just to give you an idea of what I started with this is the original. I got the light on her pretty spot on I think, but with out proper lighting on the background that part of it really didn't work out which is why I had to recreate one in PS.

I don't yet have any soft boxes beauty dishes, or anything like that, so the light is two Canon 550EX's and a 580EX to control them.

I like the unedited pic better minus the top edge and little black thing on the right side. Bump up exposure a bit.
