I really like the "fisheye" illusion and the lines and shapes... I do wish I could see more at the bottom - the lower curve of the stairway etc.
Nice control of light and dark Cristóbal - shooting up in this situation is tricky.

I agree with Eric....there's a lot to like in this shot. My eyes, though, tend to wander about the scene, seeking a definitive subject to lock on to. This is a tough kind of shooting to do. You did well, Cristóbal.

    Take care buddy,

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    Thanks guys.

I agree that a wider shot would have been better, but I was as wide as I could with that lens. In addition to get more of the lower part I would have liked to include more of the circle on the top.

Tom is right that there is a lot to look at and it is easy to get distracted, however, I tend to like photos that make you discover things.

    Good comments.

I had to take a second look.

I walked away with a rhythmic engagement with the shot, first time.

Second time round - same thing

Architectural shots are usually static (to me), this one is different

I don't know if my words make sense, but I like the shot and it's effect

    Good see

Thanks, it makes sense to me. I think that the black and white stairs coming down from top left to bottom right is what provides that wave-like rhythm you're talking about.

The diagonals make this very dynamic.....foto seems to have motion.
