Driving the back roads ffrom Merced to Sonora. There was some interesting light and color on the Oaks and Rocks. Color version did not excite my but when I did a BW conversion was much more pleased with the shot. C&C always welcome.

That's an awesome b/w!! very nice... would be great with just a touch more light in the trees, but I know that may not be possible... way to make the best of a great shot that didn't work in color!

Thank you for the comments, it was an interesting day the light was not the greatest but the color of the leaves that were still hanging on were interesting. There was a really nice composition that I past up due to no place to pull over and time constraints caused by the work schedule to park and hike back.
Here is the color version which is not bad but it think it works better in BW

Hah! After seeing the color version, I am leaning towards it. Not sure how many billion times I have taken my eyes off the road at golden hour to find shot like this. Can never find the angle. One of these days......
