How to change Site Design but preserve custom Navigation Menu

After converting to the new Smugmug I spent quite a bit of time re-doing all of my customizations - such as Navigation Bar/Menu, adding some CSS code to enlarge the download icon. Now, I would like to see how it all looks and feels with different Site Designs, but it seems that when I select other designs, I will lose my customizations (My logo, all my Nav bar links etc, CSS Code etc).

Is there any way to preserve my customizations??

    Your best bet is to copy out your CSS code and save it on your PC. Then you can reapply. Its possible that some of CSS will still apply. There is no way to carry over a menu from one design to another.
