C&C always welcomed!

I actually took this series waayyyyy back in October, but it took until now for her to pick her shots. You may recall her from previous sessions; I've done several with her. This one was specifically for 3/4 and full length... so that's what we did. This session is really the one that hammered home how much my full-length posing sucks, and that I want to work on improving it so that it's fluent; these two are ok, but there were a lot in this session that I was really unhappy with. I find full length really hard!

2. And... a before and after. I hadn't actually included this one in her original proofs because I saw too many things wrong with it, but since it was a good expression and flattered her figure, decided to play with it since we were struggling to find ones that did what she needed them to do (I never delete anything until a session has been completely delivered!). I'm actually pretty pleased with the final version of this. And SO glad I thought to change the dress colour - hugely prefer the blue with her skintone.

I like the final results here. I would remove the folds of skin on her left wrist in #1 due to her watch. I would also remove the prominent vein in her right arm in #2.

Thanks for posting your before and after photos. Kudos to you and your PP skills. Very impressive!!

    Thanks Mitchell!

The PP on the second one was really not that difficult - cropped and cloned out the evidence of the parking lot, tilted it for a bit more dynamic comp, and then the color tweak was done with LR sliders. The rest was just normal processing for colour/contrast etc. Oh, and the wrinkles in the dress - that was probably the hardest job (but the switch in colour minimised the cloning for some reason) Frankly, what takes longest is figuring out what to do rather than the actual doing of it!

I agree about your other nits, but for these I'm leaving them in - she's submitting for quite a bit of film work, and a lighter hand is preferred for that market. For a singer - or even theatrical shots - I'd take those out thumb.gif
