I did, but I know just enough HTML/CSS to be dangerous...!
.
What about if one doesn't know HTML/CSS?
Time to hire a customizer?? Or is it something that can be figured out. Are different themes easier to customize?
OK...so now I have my SmugMug site and a WordPress site working (thanks to jR Customization--highly recommended!). I am assuming I need a new Google Analytics setup for the WP site....right? And, if so, should I use one of the WP recommended plugins or the same generic Google Plus tool I used for my SmugMug site?
Any recommendations?
You will have to add your GA to your Wordpress site. I highly recommend the 'Wordpress SEO by Yoast'. That plugin doesn't add the GA code, but it allows you to verify different search engines, social media, and allows you to edit your meta tags. I'm sure there are simple plugins to add your GA code, but I made my own.

I had an existing Wordpress site (I customized it) and then made my SM site to match. See my two sites in my signature below.

I would say using Dgrin, the SmugMug support (the "Heroes"), and the customizers on this page:

It depends how much help you need....and what you need, I suppose.
Good luck!
