My first reaction was to think there was a certain charm/irony/humor in the
notion that he appears to be of a people (Inuit?) that usually has that
type of weather at home and didn't need to come to NY to be coooold!
That and he seems to be smiling for you.

Interesting take but she is actually from China and from a warm climate. This is her first experience with temperatures this low.
