Google webmaster info in account settings doesn't work >>> please update help page!

I am trying to follow the instructions (black part of photo), but on the link I'm taken to, there is no option to "choose the HTML tag method". The bottom part of the photo is all I see. Lots of following links to find the HTML tag method, but I cannot find it. Suggestions? Thanks.

No suggestion - I can't find it either. Google webmaster tools shows me a page similar to the page you show in your post.

Thanks, Denise. I imagine Google rearranged some pages, and Smumug needs to update its instruction to match.

Ah, I just figured it out. The Verify site option is only available on that screen for sites you haven't verified in the past.

If you want to check of change verification, click on the site name in Google Webmaster Tools to open it, then click on the wheel icon to see a list of options.

Click verification details, then Verify using a different method. You will then see the tag to place in your account settings.
